s2 Research Stream Two The second of four research threads is a series of qualitative interviews designed to add depth to our understanding. These will focus on groups and issues of theoretical and policy interest. Face-to-face interviews will include women workers, those from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds, older workers, and others likely to be vulnerable once retrenched. One set of interviews will target the spouses and families of retrenched workers to find out more about the impact of redundancy on the families of retrenched automotive workers.
