UniSA Business 3MT Winner - FWFC's Kathryn Anderson!

Congratulations to Kathryn Anderson, our PhD candidate, for winning the UniSA Business Three Minutes Thesis (3MT®) competition on 19 July 2023.
Kathryn presented her research on Innovation Districts, a recent development in urban regeneration and innovation geography. Her presentation focused on how these districts work to create connections in multi-layered ways, and through this, respond to change in the industrial foundations of economies.
3MT® is an international competition celebrating the research undertaken by PhD candidates. Presenters have 1 slide and 3 minutes to convey their research in non-technical language. The University of South Australia holds competitions at the Academic Unit level and the University level.

She will now participate in the UniSA Grand Final on Tuesday 5 September 2023 at the University of South Australia’s City West Campus with other finalists from the each of the Academic Units. The winner will represent the University of South Australia at the 2023 Asia-Pacific 3MT® Competition.
