Regions in Transition: Balancing Economic, Social and Environmental Priorities for Better Regional Futures

Conferences have not been as accessible to attend since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Regional Studies Association Winter Conference in London presented an opportunity to engage an international audience with our research findings alongside the ACU (Australian Catholic University) run workshop in Rome the following week. The presentations below delivered several findings and implications of our research that brought together aspects of the Stream 4 Community Survey (Andrew Beer), the Stream 2 In-depth Interviews (Sally Weller) and the Stream 3 Discrete Choice Experiments (Jacob Irving). The presentations were positively received indicating the enduring value research in the Australian context has for International audiences during the current transitions the world, and its cities and regions face.
